In plain words
In many kingdoms many wars have taken place. But in our Bhārata war never takes place, nor will it ever. This is the kingdom of Rāma. This is the kingdom of Prema. This is the kingdom of Śānti.
She who restored her dead husband to life, Sāvitrī: was she not a wife of Bhārata? She who by the power of her truth put out a forest fire, Candramatī: was she not a holy woman? She who showed the chastity of her line in a pit of fire, Sītā: was she not a daughter of Bhārata's earth? She who in anger burned the insolent hunter to ashes, Damayantī: was she not a woman of Bhārata?
Precisely because there have been such great mothers, Bhārata shines to this day in unbroken festivity, its green festoons ever hung. You know: when a wife dies, men at once try for a second marriage. But among women there are none like that. From time without beginning Bhārata has stood in the place of teacher to all the lands. That is why Śrīman Nārāyaṇa was born in Bhārata, showed many līlās and wonders, and has gone on uplifting every living being.
Every human being is a reflection of the Ātma! That is why Śrī Kṛṣṇa said, “Mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ.” All of you are embodiments of Rāma! Your forms and names may be different. But in all of you there is only the one Ātmārāma. So do not think that Rāma is somewhere else. Your very heart is Rāma's temple. So keep remembering, without a break, the Rāma who is in your heart. In the waking state, in the dream state or in deep sleep, at all times Rāma is right in your home, right with you wherever you go, right at your side, right before your eyes. Rāma is not one particular individual.
