సకల విద్యలు నేర్చి సభ జయించగవచ్చుశూరుడై రణమున పోరవచ్చురాజరాజై పుట్టి రాజ్యమేలగవచ్చుహేమభూదానముల్ యీయవచ్చుగగనంపు చుక్కలు గణింయింపగావచ్చుజీవరాసుల పేర్లు చెప్పవచ్చుఅష్టాంగవిద్యలనన్ని నేర్వగవచ్చుచంద్రమండలయాత్ర సలుపవచ్చుకాని దేహేంద్రియాదుల కట్టిపెట్టిమనసు నిల్పియు నంతర్ముఖము చేసిఅనవరత నిశ్చలంబైన ఆత్ములగుచునిలువగాలేరు మానవుల్ నియతితోడ.

You may master every branch of learning and win over the assembly; you may fight in battle as a hero; you may be born a king of kings and rule a kingdom; you may give gifts of gold and of land; you may count the stars of the sky; you may tell the names of every living creature; you may learn every one of the eight-limbed sciences; you may journey to the sphere of the moon; but holding the body, the senses and the rest in check, steadying the mind and turning it within, becoming the Ātma, ever unmoving, men cannot stand firm in discipline.
