Passage 1

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

From satsaṅga comes detachment; from detachment, freedom from delusion; from freedom from delusion, the unwavering principle; from the unwavering principle, Jīvanmukti.

Through satsaṅga, a natural detachment; that very detachment is delusion gone; when delusion ends, Śānti and steadiness; steadiness and Śānti are themselves Jīvanmukti.

Students, embodiments of the sacred Ātma!

The great process of human life is self-confidence and purity of mind. In life, man cannot live alone. In the world, a person's life depends on society. The state of such a sacred society has come to Bhārata alone. Such sacred social dealings and such feelings of forbearance cannot be found in other countries. Water has not flowed in the body of the people of Bhārata. Blood is flowing. The young people of Bhārata must set about a fitting effort to restore the sacredness of the culture of Bhārata. You young people of today must stand ready to offer up your lives for Satya. By following such a path of Satya and lighting the light of Satya, this land of Bhārata won its meaningful name, ‘the land of Satya’. Bowed under the force of the conditions of place and time, the people of Bhārata today have gone very far from that Satya, and a state has come about in which they become a laughing-stock. Today the need has arisen for us to live the meaningful, sacred character called ‘Mātṛdevo bhava, Pitṛdevo bhava, Ācāryadevo bhava, Atithidevo bhava’ as an artificial life. That you may make the fitting effort to restore this changed Bhārata once again as the sacred Sanātana Dharma, we arrange gatherings like these and have people of experience speak with you, and through them we set about transforming your hearts: that precisely is our chief aim.
