In plain words

To form a bond with God is itself satsaṅga

Above all, what you must do is this: keep a close bond of kinship with God. Just as even a useless twig turns into fire by touching fire, so when you keep a bond with God, God's power enters into you. Forming a bond with God is the true satsaṅga.

From satsaṅga, detachment; from detachment, freedom from delusion; from freedom from delusion, the unwavering principle; from the unwavering principle, liberation while living.

But today's man has no steady feeling at all. Whenever you look, his mind is leaping and jumping like a mad monkey. “This is my body; I am not the body. This is my mind; I am not the mind. Then who am I?” Ask yourselves this. Body, Manas, Buddhi, citta … The ‘I’ stands apart from all of these. It is in everyone, from the man too poor to eat to the millionaire, and it stands as the onlooker of all. To recognise this principle, you must nourish the spirit of sacrifice.

In this hospital there is no place for differences of caste and religion. Many Hindus come here, Christians come, Muslims come. We look on all as equal. Because all are children of one and the same Father. When we believe in the brotherhood of man and the fatherhood of God, we can achieve anything. In the Sai institutions there is no place for differences of any kind. Many Seva Dal members of the Sai organisations come here and serve. In the Super Speciality Hospital here, a hundred Seva Dal members serve every day. Such a spirit of sacrifice must begin in the young. As age increases, the spirit of sacrifice too must go on increasing.

Embodiments of Prema! Today we are celebrating this hospital's Silver Jubilee. But we must not be content with this. We must develop it much further and celebrate its Golden Jubilee.
