That very energy they called God. In so many ways these scientists go round and round to bring it in. But spirituality has been experiencing it direct all along. For the food in the plate to reach the stomach direct, you must put the mouth and the hand to work, must you not! Today, what are the scientists doing to put it into the stomach? After turning it round and round, in the end it goes and arrives at that same place. This they called the power of science. What is this power? Prahlāda learnt it even in those days, with his little intellect. There are science students here. All of you go to the lab; they say two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen combine and become water. That is only in the lab! When you sit down to a meal, are you mixing hydrogen and oxygen? No. Today's education is left merely as education, but the education of those days used to turn into elevation. We need that elevation now. Elevation gives us great joy. To show our system of education in a way that is within reach of all in society, we must practise it with deliberate effort. Be wherever you may, God Himself looks after everything. We must strengthen that faith.
Whether you are in the forest or in the sky, whether in the town or in the village, on a hilltop or in midstream, Sai never forgets you in His heart.
Wherever you are, He comes to know it. He is everywhere. Your head is here; your foot is down below. An ant is crawling on your foot. At once you swat it, don't you! Did the head go there and look? This power of consciousness is everywhere.
That Which Is the Basis of All Learning Is Spiritual Education
Just as the power of consciousness is everywhere in the body, in the same way God is everywhere. The country and the body are only object and reflection, only presence and absence! Darkness and light: they are not two.
