In plain words
The tranquil One who bears every form, the auspicious One who bears every name, Saccidānanda, without a second, the true, the auspicious, the beautiful.
Embodiments of Prema! For two days now all of you have sat here, bearing a great deal of strain, and have listened closely to every subject. That you have come from so far, bearing so much expense and trouble, and taken part in this gathering is proof of your pure heart. Among the crores of people in the world, only a few receive such a chance. This is very great good fortune.
What, above all, must you learn for having come here? In the world there are some lakhs of schools and some lakhs of colleges. However many of them there may be, you must first of all understand the nature of the ‘college’ called your heart. You must cultivate the five values within it, Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā. Only then can you become truly educated people. In the world there are so many lawyers; they read big, big books. But however much they read, what use is it if they too turn out to be ‘liars’! There are so many doctors. But between one doctor and another, no ‘unity’ is to be seen. The first thing you must achieve is ‘unity’. All are brothers and sisters! The Father is one alone, and He is God. You must make firm in your heart the truth that all of us are indeed children of that Father. Among children there may be small faults.
