In plain words
He who bears every form, the tranquil; who bears every name, the auspicious; whose form is Saccidānanda, the One without a second: Satyam, Śivam, Sundaram.
Without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, all the learning you have learnt is worth nothing; without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, gifts and charity have no meaning at all; without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, the fruit of holding high office is nothing; without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, the gain of many good deeds is nothing. To keep this mansion of Sanātana Dharma standing, these qualities are its four walls, My dear; what more than this could I make known, members of this gathering, counted among the gentle and the good!
Embodiments of Prema!
Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā are the five life-breaths of man
However much learning a man may gain, however high the offices he may hold, however great a scholar he may become, if he lacks human values all of it is in vain! What use is it to be born a man and then to turn into a man who has lost his very humanness? Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema, Ahiṃsā.
