Passage 1

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, all the learning one has mastered is worth nothing; without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, gifts and charities come to nothing; without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, the fruit of ruling from high office is nothing; without Satya, Dharma, Prema and Śānti, the profit of a host of good works is nothing. For this mansion of Sanātana Dharma to stand, these four virtues are its foundations, my friend. What more than this shall I make known? O noble members of this gathering, esteemed for your virtues!

Embodiments of Prema!

The Paramātma, the very embodiment of supreme Prema, incarnates time and again to protect the world. What does it mean to incarnate? The awareness of Prema and the awareness of the world: the Avatāra is nothing other than the oneness of these two. The form made of body, Manas and Buddhi is itself Prakṛti. For the sake of such a Prakṛti, God Himself must also come in a form in harmony with Prakṛti. To bring people onto the right path and to work a transformation in them is precisely God's chief aim.
