In plain words

The day when all the devotees gather and, hailing Him as God, sing His praise sweetly to the ear; the day when, lovingly removing all the sorrows of the poor, we live together like brothers; the day when, to the bands of servants who dwell on God, we lovingly serve fine food; the day when great souls, whoever they may be, come to us and tell Bābā's stories as friends; the blessed day that brings Bhakti into the heart: that is a day; can all the others be days? What more than this shall I make known, O members of this gathering, counted among the good and virtuous!

Embodiments of Prema! Our All India President Srinivasan said it: he said that Vinay is very able, that he is well educated, and that he is making fine arrangements. The day the craze for the English language took hold, the knowledge of our own faith grew thin; the day the knowledge of our own faith grew thin, the feeling for refinement died away; the day the feeling for refinement died away, Dharma waned upon the earth; the day Dharma waned and left the earth, the greatness of Bhārata was broken. So even now, open your eyes and look with understanding, O people of Bhārata! What more than this shall I make known, O members of this gathering, counted among the good and virtuous!

Wherever you look, there is turmoil! In the physical, the worldly and the spiritual fields too, moral values have worn thin. Humanness has lost its dignity. Today everyone, from the man too poor for a meal to the millionaire, has become like a beggar. The man too poor for a meal is begging. The millionaire is begging too. Of these, who is the greater?
