In plain words
See no evil See what is good. Hear no evil hear what is good think no evil Think what is good. talk no evil talk what is good. do no evil do what is good. This is the way to god.
If we do not achieve this in the proper way, later on we will have to suffer its pains, so many hardships. Youth is full of Ahaṅkāra. And man's youth is fleeting. It flashes past like lightning. It passes quickly. But, delighted by the desires of such fleeting senses and by youth, we are burning our future to ashes. In this very time we must make the effort needed to keep them under proper control. This is the good teaching that the Kenopaniṣad gave to ṛṣis, to gods and to men.
Not only this, it went on to show the right ideal to gods and men. O man! The fruit of sin or the fruit of merit that you earn is not something that gives milk the moment the cow is milked. It is like a seed that is sown. So they said of it. The very moment a seed is sown, it does not become a tree and give us fruit. It takes time to become a tree. It takes some years. Then, when it bears fruit, it takes some months. It takes some days for the green fruit to ripen. So this takes a long time. Know this carefully. Today, the very moment you sin, you may boast, "What result has come to me? Nothing at all has come to me!" But it takes time for all this seed to become fruit and for you to taste that fruit. This, however, has never failed. It will not fail. So in this age of youth we must carefully set ourselves on the sacred path. With this very thing in view:
