In plain words
Embodiments of Prema! All of you are full of Prema. You thirst for Ānanda. You are embodiments of the Ātma. You must surely develop that feeling. I am not man. I am God, I am God. The body is the human principle. But I am not the body. Without filth, urine, stench, flesh and blood, civet and musk are not born.
A hovel of filth, a servant's basket wasting with disease, a tuber born to move about, a thornbush that cannot swim the sea of worldly life, a quiver of arrows: rise and look! Whenever we think of it, this body as lasting, do not trust it, O mind! Take refuge at the feet of Hari.
This thing called the body is a vehicle. The consciousness that is within it is our very form. You are not one who perishes. Your Ātma principle is ever beyond destruction. So, holding to that Ātma principle, believe the body to be a vehicle. A vehicle, a vehicle. Body, mind, senses: all of these are vehicles. They are negatives. These negatives stay within the positive and keep everything going. That is why: develop positive thoughts. Only then will you become blessed. Do not develop the mind on these petty, impermanent, transient things. Only then will everyone have Śānti. Not for our own convenience, not for our own selfish ends, but for this world too, we must spread this Śānti. Only then will our life too become worthwhile. The world too will become sacred.
