Passage 1

In plain words

He who dwells in Śrī Puttaparthi, the merciful One, will protect you always; He will take you by the hand and save you, and never letting go of you at any point, He will rule over you.

The Eternal One, who has neither death nor birth, without beginning, middle or end, the One who has no beginning, Himself not born, not dying, not slain, who shines everywhere as the witness of all: the Ātma itself is Brahman, and Brahman itself is the Ātma.

Bhārata is the mainstay of the Vedas, the home ground of yajñas, yāgas and sacred rites, the great mother who bore many Avatāras; this land of sacrifice is the very form of morality and discipline.

Embodiments of Prema! Bhārata is the birthplace of morality and discipline, and the home that Satya and Dharma married into. Your birth in such a land of Bhārata is a birth of great good fortune. This is a land of merit, a land of tapas, a land of sacrifice. Do not try to turn it into a land of pleasure. Bend your backs, sweat, wear down your muscles, and work hard. You, the darling children of Bhārata, must not turn into dullards and bad children; you must live as excellent children, as ideal children. Only then will Mother Bhārata rejoice beyond measure at having given birth to you. It does not matter if you have no degrees at all. “We are the children of Mother Bhārata”: that itself is the great qualification you hold. Bhārata is a land of fortune. What kind of fortune? The fortune of the spirit, the fortune of Ānanda, the fortune of sacrifice.
