In plain words
Where is Satya? It pervades everywhere. There is no place without Satya. That is why there is no place without God. God is all-pervading. With this very thing in view the Bhagavad Gītā said —
Everywhere Its hands and feet, everywhere Its eyes, heads and faces, everywhere Its ears in the world; It stands enveloping all.
Satya itself has taken on all forms. The divinity that is the form of Satya is in man himself. But, unable to recognise this truth, man thinks divinity is separate from him and performs actions that waste time. That which is eternal and true, unchanged by time, unerased by history, undiminished by dissolution, unenlarged by creation: that very thing, eternal and true, is the principle of the Ātma.
The everlasting one, who has neither death nor birth, without beginning, middle or end, the beginningless one, who is not born, does not die and is not slain, dwells everywhere as the Ātma!
So man must push far away the feeling of duality that says, I am separate and God is separate. He must believe that God is in his heart itself. The heart itself is God's dwelling. So there is no need to search outside for God.
Lincoln, who rose to the heights through self-confidence
Abraham Lincoln was born into a very poor family. When he went to school as a child, the other boys: “We wear costly clothes. You are poor. You do not even have proper clothes to wear,” they would jeer. Unable to bear this insult, little Lincoln one day climbed into his mother's lap: “Mother! My schoolmates insult me badly,” he wept. Then the mother, soothing her son: “My son! Think that even this insult is for your good. Do not hanker after the honour and regard others show. Keep your self-respect. That is your property, that is your wealth.
