In plain words
You have only one heart. If you had two hearts, they would put you in hospital. In the same way, there is only one principle of the Ātma. That itself is Satya. When you follow that Satya, you see nothing but its reflection everywhere. The principle of Prema within you is one! But because you spread that Prema out in many ways, it appears to you to be many. That it appears so is only the effect of your own thoughts, not Satya.
Students! Try to recognise the spiritual principle well. ‘I am the embodiment of the one Ātma. In this world there is no second person’: believe this firmly. We must not trust outward things. Mother and father, wife and children... All such ties of relationship have arisen only from your own thoughts; they are not made by someone else. Such a Relationship is temporary. We must not believe this to be Satya. We must believe in the principle of the Ātma within us. God, as the embodiment of the Ātma, is everywhere.
Its hands and feet are everywhere; everywhere are Its eyes, heads and faces; Its ears are everywhere in the world; It stands enveloping all.
What is everywhere is oneness itself! It is only through delusions that you imagine many.
Embodiments of Prema! Prema is within you yourselves. You need not earn it from somewhere outside. Whomever you love, you are loving only your own reflection. To love your own reflection and think that you are loving someone else: how great a mistake! God alone is the true friend. He never deceives you in any way. You yourselves doubt such a true friend now and then, but God never doubts you. All the changes are those that arise in you; in God no change of any kind takes place. In this world there is only one eternal friend. He is none other than God. For God it is always the feeling of the one Ātma! Trust God, who has that feeling of the one Ātma, as your friend.
