In plain words

We must develop such a broad heart today. To experience this divine principle there are many ideals in sacred Bhārata.

But today no fitting effort is made to recognise them. Out of narrow thinking, many people of Bhārata take self-interest itself for the good of others. In Bhārata there have been so many who gave us ideals. We must today bring the greatness of Bhārata, famed in continent after continent, back to life, and spread it and teach it.

Famed in continent after continent, the motherland that bore great souls; that drove out the warriors of the West the land of battle that won its freedom; in music, in letters and in the sciences the divine land that showed the power of the intellect; wondrous in the arts of painting, born in this land of Bhārata, to guard the treasure of Dharma of the land of Bhārata the whole responsibility is yours, devotees!

To be born in so sacred a land as Bhārata is a great good fortune. To rise in it as great souls is a greater good fortune still. Among such great souls, those who have dedicated their lives to the good of others are more fortunate still. When so sacred a chance comes our way, what is most urgent today is to make it worthwhile and to proclaim to the world our divine culture and Dharma of Bhārata. To recognise well the greatness of our Bhārata, to teach it to others and to explain it well is the duty of the sādhus of today.

In the supremely holy land of Bhārata forbearance is our beauty; shining brightest among all the vows, a great and truthful character is the sternest tapas.
