Of all the tasks to be achieved in human life, the most important is the Prema of God. Of all the riches in the world, the foremost is the Prema of God. All riches are drops that have sprung from this Prema. Only when we recognise the meaning of the word ‘Bhagavān’ can we understand the worth of this Prema of God. Among the words God, Brahman, Parabrahman and the rest, the most essential is the word ‘Bhagavān’, as ghee is the last product of milk! Milk can be turned into curd; curd can be churned and butter taken from it. Butter can be melted and made into ghee. But that ghee cannot be turned into any other product. It has to be eaten in that form! In the same way there is room to use many words: Brahman, Parabrahman, Paramātma, Ātma. But this last word, ‘Bhagavān’, cannot be turned into anything else.
