In plain words
That is why everything turned out good for them. The wicked Hiraṇyakaśipu tormented Prahlāda in many ways; he had him trampled by elephants. Prahlāda went on calling to mind ‘Nārāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa’. Even those elephants appeared to him as Nārāyaṇa Himself. He had him bitten by poisonous snakes. As Prahlāda said ‘Nārāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa’, where did all that poison go! Not only that: Hiraṇyakaśipu had him pushed down from the mountains; he had him thrown into the sea. Even then Nārāyaṇa caught Prahlāda in His two hands and brought him home safely. Thus harm does not come to one who trusts God, at any time, on any day, anywhere. So all of you must develop such firm faith. That faith itself will teach you every kind of learning. Where there is faith, there is Prema. Where there is Prema, there is God. God has no separate name, no form. Truth is God, God is truth. Satya itself created this whole world.
From Satya everything was created; in Satya all creation is absorbed; look and see: which place is without the glory of Satya? This is pure sattva: behold it!
That itself is realisation. That is why we must recognise Satya. Some people have faith in God, but within a few days it changes. As faith keeps changing, the result too keeps changing. If you have complete faith, the result too will be completely good. When some troubles come to you, you forget that Prema and faith. Whatever happens, you must not lose faith. Faith itself must be our breath. That is the right way. However many people, in however many ways, point to your parents and say ‘These are not your parents’, you do not agree.
