In plain words

“Karmānubandhīni manuṣyaloke”: this body has come together through karma alone. We must act with the body of karma itself. Through the actions of this body we must make time holy. Only when time, action, body and cause are pure will duty be done well. We must recognise the influences of place, time and circumstance, and act accordingly. Humility and obedience are most necessary for students. You must respect elders. You must love your parents. You must serve your teachers. You must move together in friendship with your fellow men. From that unity alone a kind of purity arises. From that purity alone divinity arises. Without unity, purity will not come to us. Where there is no unity, what can start? We must not give enmity any chance at all. If we observe well these ten rules called yama and niyama, humanness will grow in us to any extent. Ahiṃsā, Satya, asteya, brahmacarya, aparigraha: it is enough if we practise these five. You must not pain anyone. You must not hurt anyone. As far as you can, try to check yourself within yourself and to restrain your own way. Do not desire the things of others in the least. If you need something, pray to God. You have every right over God. But do not stretch out your hand to man. That is what students must recognise above all. Depend on your own strength. Depend on your own actions. You must not become idlers. Through that, how many kinds of bad qualities enter us! We must enter into work at all times. Work. Work. Work. Since we are bound by karma, we must take up the vow of karma if we are to wish for the longing for karma. Only then will a heart full of zeal well up in us. Through Prema for God and through divine feeling, you must believe the whole of life to be holy.

Students! You must not think, “Bhajan, bhajan,” and take this bhajan to be something without any result. The Ānanda there is in bhajan, the comfort there is in bhajan, we find in nothing else. This bhajan is a meal for our life. If we keep singing bhajans to God constantly, life will be full of Ānanda. Jayadeva, Gaurāṅga, Tukārām: all of these fulfilled their lives through bhajan alone. No one is to be seen who attained Mukti through some dhyāna or some japa. So all the nine kinds of path are contemplation of God.

Śravaṇaṃ kīrtanaṃ viṣṇossmaraṇaṃ pādasevanaṃ arcanaṃ vandanaṃ dāsyaṃ sakhyamātma nivedanaṃ.

These nine kinds of path are paths that lead to that goal. However much you study, you must not give up thinking of God. It is because we neglect what concerns God that unrest of many kinds keeps arising in us.
