In plain words
Help ever, hurt never. We must not hurt anyone. We must not speak harsh words of any kind. We must not revile anyone at all. Reviling others is a great sin. We must not revile even someone who hates us. Such good qualities lie hidden within us. The body is made of the five elements; it is joined to the five senses. All these senses are bound up with desires. But there are some things hidden within, without our knowing them. They are Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā. We must draw these forth from within ourselves. This itself is called ‘Educare’. The learning we gain today by reading books is called ‘education’. It is not this ‘education’ that we must learn. Reading and learning things someone has written in books is only ‘education’. To draw forth the good qualities within oneself, with no need for anyone to tell one, and to enter upon the holy path: that is Educare. It is a gift of God's grace. It is gained only by God's grace; without it, it cannot be gained.
Recognise the oneness and worship the divinity
We must keep on with ‘Sarvadā sarvakāleṣu sarvatra haricintanaṃ’. That is true Bhakti. Whether we say Īśvara or Viṣṇu, whatever name we call by, the divinity that answers is one.
“The ornaments differ, the gold is one; the colours of the cattle differ, the milk is one.”
In the same way, God is one. Say ‘Allāh’, say ‘Jesus’, say ‘Rāma’, say ‘Kṛṣṇa’. Give Him any name you like. God is one. All these are only different names of the one God. ‘Ekaṃ sat viprāḥ bahudhā vadanti.’ So we must not make distinctions where God is concerned. To know the secret of God, you need an ‘open heart’. Think of whatever name you love; there is nothing wrong in that. But to revile some forms and names and worship others is very wrong.
