In plain words

We must recognise these four values. Satya, Dharma, Prema, Śānti. These are the forms of God. These are man's values. Satya is God. Truth is GOD. Next, Dharma. ‘Rāmo vigrahavān dharmaḥ’. Dharma is the very form of God. Śānti: where is Śānti? Śānti is not somewhere outside. All there is in the world outside is pieces. But this peace, Śānti, is like a precious pearl in the world. It is like a jewel. You are the Embodiments of Peace. Prema means: Love is God, live in Love. Without Prema there is no life at all. In every man it abides as his chief life-breath. But unfortunately people turn this Prema onto a wrong path. The Prema of husband and wife, of mother and child, of brothers, of sisters, of friends, of relatives: in this way they share Prema out. They cut Prema into pieces. No: join it all together and take it as Prema for God. Look, because all the threads are joined, how strong it is! Take out each thread one by one, and you can snap it with your fingers. Everyone's Prema is Prema for God. ‘Mātṛdevo bhava, pitṛdevo bhava, ācāryadevo bhava, atithidevo bhava’. All are embodiments of God! Friends too are embodiments of God! You yourself are God. Before the offering of the self comes friendship.

Listening, singing, remembering Viṣṇu, serving His feet, worship, salutation, service, friendship and the offering of the self.

When friendship comes, everything is settled right there.

God alone is the true friend

If you want to be wholly offered to God, there must be friendship. You must gain friendship, comradeship.
