Passage 11

In plain words

The body is made of the five elements; the body must fall some day; the indweller is free from every ill....

I am not the body; I am the indweller. I am the one who protects the body. 'The body is My armour': in this way He went on raising Himself up. So we must regard every human being as a messenger of God. A messenger must go on proclaiming Swami's commands, Swami's message, to the world. Whether one likes it or not, whether some say yes and others say no, you must hold firm with the resolve, 'I want Swami alone.' In time, no and yes are only on your lips, but for Sai everything is yes yes. This you will come to know. In Divinity there are no faults of any kind. Whatever the words, whatever the acts, whatever the tasks, all of them are just as they should be. According to your own feelings and fancies, they come to you as reflection. These come only psychologically; they have not come directly, in their actual form. You keep thinking that God has given all these. God always gives only good; He does not give bad. The bad is your own reflection, reaction, resound. So the one who always gives reality is God. You must go on experiencing such a truth well.

Matthew used to be a tax officer. He used to meet the fishermen. In the beginning he used to ask them, full of doubts, 'How did you come to have faith in Jesus?' Such doubting thomases have grown even more numerous in the Kali age. Doubts all the time, nothing but doubts. Do not join with such people. Because when you join their company, you too will turn into that doubting thomas. You are coal. God is fire. Put the coal to that fire. The coal becomes fire, but the fire does not become coal. So join God. You too will become God. But now they are putting coal with coal. Even if you touch coal, your hand gets dirty. However much water you wash it with, the water too becomes spoiled. So water cannot make it clean. Only when you believe in God does it become clean. When you want to become pure, you must believe completely. That very faith nourishes complete divinity.
