In plain words

I have been entering on this good path so that the good feeling might arise: 'Since Sai Bābā Himself shows so much respect, we too must practise it.' We must honour our mother and worship her. To develop such sacred feelings in every heart today, I have in this way set apart for women what is called Mahilā Day. It is not only the one day, November 19th. In some states they hold these festivals on the 19th of every month. Whether in a sacred time or an unholy time, you must never leave your mother at all.

Through the influence of Kali, in this modern age, having become greatly learned, great scholars, and having won great strength, the children of today look on their mothers as a kind of cook. It would not matter if they thought of her as a cook. They see her even as a servant. How many births' karma of theirs this must be! A beggar comes to the house and says, 'Bhavati bhikṣāṃ dehi.' That means, 'O mistress of the house! O master! In some birth I did not give food to a beggar. I did not regard the beggar as a son. So today I was born a beggar. O mother! O father! Do not be born as beggars in your coming birth': that is to say, the beggar comes to warn you so. "And I am a beggar of three births. Before, I gave alms to no one. That is why I took this birth. In this birth I beg alms, but I give no alms in return. In the coming birth too I shall be a beggar. I am a beggar, a beggar indeed. Do not become beggars yourselves," the beggars come to warn. Whom are they asking? They say, 'Bhavati bhikṣāṃ dehi.' Who is meant by Dehi? God Himself.

The body is made of the five elements; the body must fall one day without fail; the Dehi is free from every ill; if you consider it, for the Dehi birth and death, the seals of the bonds and fetters of delusion, do not exist; if you see the truth, that Dehi Himself is the God of gods

The beggar says 'O Dehi', but 'O master!' he does not say. Dehi is not the name of the master of the house.
