In plain words
We must use this body for recognising the goal of our life. We scramble after earning money. Everything must have a limit. Once it crosses the limit, it turns into a dull lump. So we must achieve the aim of our life within the limit. Nothing comes with us. Thinking about this passing life, we waste our time. We forget our duty. We should not waste time over food and drink. Our span of life is melting away like a block of ice turning to vapour. No one knows when the god of death will come.
The body is made of the five elements; the body must fall one day; the indweller is free of all ill; consider: for the indweller birth and death and the marks of the fetters of delusion do not exist; see the truth: that indweller is the God of gods; consider it in your mind: He is the very form of the Ātma.
We must do karma with our hands and remember the Name of Hari with our mouth
We must recognise this truth. Wasting our life in darkness can never bear fruit. What matters most for every human being is Bhakti. The mother is the example of Bhakti. The father is the very example of Jñāna. The guru is the very example of Vairāgya. God is the very embodiment of Tattva. Only when we follow these four rightly do we find the path of Mukti. We must develop Prema for the mother. Today man loves goods and vehicles. But he does not love the parents who are the cause of our head, food, blood. ‘Let your mother be God to you, let your father be God to you, let your teacher be God to you, let your guest be God to you,’ they said. First of them all is the mother. So for every human being the mother herself is the guru. The mother alone loves her children, nourishes them and raises them to a high station! Forgetting the mother, people scramble after property and possessions. We must not be born to bring ruin on the mother's womb. We must be born as one who brings fulfilment to the mother's womb.
If one does not worship Śiva till the hands ache, if one does not sing the glory of Hari till the mouth tires, if one does not hold in mind compassion, truth and the rest, why be born, only to ruin the mother's womb?
