In plain words
Women and men, embodiments of Prema!
You keep the day on which Easwaramma left her body as ‘Easwaramma Day’. The body does not last.
The body is made of the five elements; the body must fall, sooner or later; the indweller is free of all ill; reckon it well: for the indweller, death and birth and the marks of delusion's binding fetters do not exist; see the truth: that indweller is the God of gods, the very form of the Ātma, when you reckon it in your mind.
But you are infatuated with the body made of the five elements. The body is transient and unreal. Whatever is born and grows, all of it is impermanent! All that is in this world must perish! Only one thing in the world endures. That is the mind. Many people are turning the mind into a ‘monkey mind’. That is a great mistake. This is the mind of Mankind (the human race). The mind is the very form of man! We must make a proper effort to bring such a mind under our control. Only one who has controlled the mind can be called a human being. One who lets the mind go as it pleases is a mere monkey. In the world many people pursue many kinds of learning and do many great deeds. But you cannot call all of them human beings. Only one who has mastered the mind is a true human being.
