In plain words
Many dreadful deeds are done in the world; we must search out why they happen. Because selfless service has dwindled away, and desires without meaning have grown too many;
because of a boorishness that has no fear of sin, because of a state that has no love for God, humanness has died down in human beings. This is the very upheaval of the world's peace.
‘I am in the light, the light is I; the light is within me, the light is I’: the man who holds this feeling fast in his heart, such a man becomes one with Brahman.
Embodiments of Prema!
The form with many heads, many eyes and many feet in this world is God Himself. Keeping such eternal divinity close beside us, we go searching for it through the endless world. Like one who leaves the Kāmadhenu in his own backyard and runs to the house next door for milk, why go asking at the neighbour's for fire while a lamp is burning in your own house? Man today keeps within himself the very divinity that is divine, pure, infinite, eternal and true, and for us to search for that divinity, that purity, as though it were outside: this is nothing but madness.
The wonders of Prakṛti are marvels. No one can grasp them. No one can describe them.
Wondrous, and for the three worlds purifying; sickles for the creeper of birth; true friends; to the grove of the sages the spring: such are the deeds of Lord Viṣṇu.
Divinity cannot be described as being like this or like that. Prakṛti is the form of līlā; the three guṇas alone are the life of this Prakṛti. These very three guṇas are the forms of the Trimūrti.
